Ahead of Halloween, staff members at Riverside Cancer Institute participated in a pumpkin decorating contest. The winners were announced on Oct. 30 and several pumpkins remain on display. In 1st Place: Dominique Washick (Oncology nurse); 2nd Place: Nicole Boudreau (Oncology nurse); 3rd Place: Amanda Nelson (Radiation Therapist).
From 3-10 p.m. Oct. 28 at Texas Roadhouse, 1290 N. Kinzie Ave., Bradley, 10% of your total food purchase will be donated to Riverside Cancer Institute. Present the flyer to ensure the 10% donation.
Riverside is hosting the third annual light the building pink event on Tuesday, September 27, to promote Breast Cancer Awareness in October. All Riverside employees are invited!

Congratulations to Brenda McLaren, oncology nurse, on her retirement after 40 years of service at Riverside!
Brenda started at Riverside on the IV team for two years and then worked in surgery for 32 years. For the past six years Brenda has been in oncology.
Thank you Brenda for your 40 years of service to our organization and for the positive impact you have had on so many patients throughout your career! We wish you nothing but the best in retirement.
