River Rat Races
On November 14th, six employees of the Riverside Health Fitness Center participated in the Kankakee Running Club’s River Rat Races at the Kankakee State Park. The races ranged from 3.1 miles to 10 miles. It was cold, wet, and windy but they all finished strong .
Show Your School Spirit
Let’s celebrate the four of our area high school football teams continuing their playoff runs during the postseason. We want to see your high school spirit, be sure to wear your favorite high school spirit wear, be it sweatshirts, tee shirts or something else.
Whether you went to school in the area or somewhere afar, we want to boost our support and enthusiasm for Kankakee High School, Bishop Mac, Wilmington and Reed Custer.

We have a lot of new faces and also some familiar faces that many fellow Riverside employees may recognize! Whether you need to stop by for a test your physician or provider has ordered, you want to just stop in to take a tour, or if you want to just say hello to your Riverside team members at the OPC– we want to let you know we are here for you with Kindness in our Veins! November is Home Care & Hospice Month
During the month of November, the home care and hospice community honors the millions of nurses, home care aides, therapists, and social workers who make a remarkable difference for the patients and families they serve. These heroic caregivers play a central role in our health care system and in homes across the nation. To recognize their efforts, we call upon all Americans to commemorate the power of caring, both at the home and in their local communities, and ask them to join with the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) by celebrating November as Home Care and Hospice Month.
In addition, Home Care Aide Week takes place the second full week of the month, November 7-13, 2021. Join us in honoring these compassionate, tireless workers who play an invaluable role for their clients as caregivers, companions, and friends.
