Riverside Healthcare is offering an 8-week program every quarter (January, April, July, October) for smoking cessation. There is a free informational orientation and the cost for the 8-week course is $30. The program is held at Riverside Orthopedic and Spine Center.
The Daily Journal has opened voting for the 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards and there are several categories to vote Riverside.

At 11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 16, a Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce Women in Networking event will feature guest speaker Tierra Dixon-Sullivan, Riverside Healthcare’s DEI Coordinator, as she speaks on Lifting As We Climb: Advancing Together Through DEI.
The event, presented by Riverside Healthcare, will be held at Adventure Commons, 70 Ken Hayes Drive, Bourbonnais, and will include lunch. The cost is $20 for chamber members or $60 for prospective members.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, the American Red Cross will host the final blood drive of the year at Riverside Healthcare (Johnson Lecture Hall). Appointments are needed and are available by logging into www.redcrossblood.org or calling Alison Paglin at 815-935-7535 ext. 31825.
