From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, the American Red Cross will host the final blood drive of the year at Riverside Healthcare (Johnson Lecture Hall). Appointments are needed and are available by logging into www.redcrossblood.org or calling Alison Paglin at 815-935-7535 ext. 31825.

On December 19, Riverside leaders, providers and staff were joined by Coal City Mayor David Spesia and members of the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce to cut the ribbon on the new wing of the Riverside Coal City Campus. The new space — featuring exam rooms, a pharmacy, and chemotherapy bays — will offer new and expanded services in Coal City including physical therapy and cancer care.
Santa Claus came to Riverside on December 11 and visited with employees and their families.
The end of the year is a time for reflection and release.
On Thursday, December 5th, Riverside team members gathered in the Reflection Garden for a floating lantern release and ceremony remembering those who have passed through our care, the lives we have lost, and the lives we have touched.
