We recognize how important LGBTQ+ competent care is, and we’re taking steps to make it easier for LBGTQ+ members in our community to get access to gender-affirming care locally. We’re proud to announce that we participated in the 2024 Healthcare Equality Index Survey which is a benchmarking tool that evaluates healthcare facilities’ policies and practices related to the equity and inclusion of their LGBTQ+ patients, visitors and employees. Through the survey, Riverside Healthcare has been recognized as a Healthcare Equality Builder.

We opened an official Little Free Library at RMC this weekend 📚 and I could not be more excited. This is my third library 🤓but who’s counting?

From the LFL Website: “Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Our mission is to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Library book-exchange boxes.
Our vision is a Little Free Library in every community and a book for every reader. We believe all people are empowered when the opportunity to discover a personally relevant book to read is not limited by time, space, or privilege.”
