Notice: Epic downtime

During the downtime, you can access Epic in a “Shadow Read Only (SRO)” mode by clicking on that icon on the desktop. This will allow you to look at Epic data but not edit or update.
Please print off any downtime reports that you may need during the downtime before the downtime start time by following the instructions in your Business Continuity (BCA) binder located next to your BCA PC.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO LEAVE ALL WORKSTATIONS ON FOR THE DOWNTIME TO RECEIVE ANY POSSIBLE WORKSTATION UPDATES!
Upon completion of the downtime, Patient Access will get the system first to register any new patients, and then all departments will be notified by the “Epic ALL CLEAR” announcement.
Please make sure to enter data into the system that occurred during the downtime per the downtime BCA policy guidelines.
After the system is back up, call the House Supervisor to report any issues.
