Cathy S. has been an RN in the Riverside Family Birthing Center for over five years. She provides excellent hands-on care to each of her patients and always makes sure that every patient she works with feels cared for. Introducing Michela C., RN. Michela is a specialty lead RN for cardiothoracic surgery in the operating room. One of her many roles includes on-boarding new surgeons within CV surgery to ensure both the OR staff and physician are prepared for surgical procedures. Additionally, Michela is the chairman of the UBC Council, where she advocates for process improvement and works with other departments to facilitate efficiency and department goals. Michela is a true team player and has an aptitude for leadership. We appreciate you!

Today we celebrate Ashley P., a RN in the Special Procedures Lab. Ashley is very conscientious and goes above and beyond to ensure the correct processes are followed. She not only was a tremendous asset when SPL moved but continually proves to be an important contributor to the success of SPL. Ashley has not allowed COVID slow her down as she is quick to cover call and days to ensure each patient receives excellent customer services. Thank you, Ashley, for going the extra mile and showing what it truly means to be a team player.

Introducing Kari R., RN. Kari is a Lifestyle Care Coordinator at Senior Life Communities Memory Care and Assisted Living in Bourbonnais. Kari goes above and beyond to ensure that each resident receives the highest quality of care. Dedication, passionate and caring are just a few words that describe Kari’s work ethic. She was one of the first employees to volunteer to care for residents who tested positive for COVID, knowing that no matter the outcome these residents needed to be cared for.
